Hank Armand, Travel as the Perfect Way to Educate

Many people recognize the extreme educational benefits that traveling can offer both adults and children. The world is such a complex and diverse place, that each country has its own unique way of life within. Being exposed to these by visiting them and learning more about their societies is a great way to broaden one's horizons and become a more worldly individual. However, the problem for a long time has been that people could not afford the extremely high travel costs of, for example, crossing the Atlantic or Pacific Oceans to explore new cultures. A new wave of members only business enterprises run by the towering business entrepreneur Hank Armand, are seeking to change this injustice to make for a brighter future in the travel and tourism industry.

For Hank Armand,  Using Travel as an Incentive to educate people is the best way to make for a better world. Hank Armand himself is a passionate traveler, and has been lucky enough to visit places all over the globe. In this time, Hank Armand believes that he has learned more than he ever did in the classroom. Seeing how different cultures operate, their culinary traditions, pastimes and aesthetic visions has helped make him a wise and thoughtful individual. Hank was lucky enough to travel extensively as a child, and it was always sad to him that more kids didn't have these opportunities. It is with this in mind that Hank pioneered his new empire of members only travel companies. Being able to provide families with affordable vacation packages to the far corners of the globe is a great way to give them the opportunity to broaden their children's horizons.

Whilst school and academia are important to an extent, traveling builds just as important skills such as curiosity, empathy, and understanding. Characteristics like these are often shunned in the education system in the US. Travel can help develop children emotionally and become more worldly individuals from a young age. If everyone had the opportunity to be exposed to the wonders of cultural diversity across the globe, there is no doubt that the world would be a better place. With affordable holidays being made more readily available, Hank Armand hopes more people than ever will have the wonderful opportunities he once had. Hank Armand – The Popularizer

Hank Armand has introduced his membership clubs to make the dreams of average-earning Americans come true. These membership clubs have made it their key priority to offer the most extraordinary destinations at a price affordable to all but the few. Hank Armand's companies currently offer the very best deals to be found in the marketplace. Whether your dream is visiting Africa, South-East Asia or Scandanavia, Hank Armand's online companies will assist you in every way to realize that dream. By concentrating his energies on catering for as wide-as-possible an audience, Hank Armand is popularizing travel in much the same way as his previous companies.

So just how does Hank Armand get such great deals on these wonderful locations? Being a members only club means he is able to offer wholesale travel prices to his customers. As the offers do not extend to the public, and a small membership is required to be paid by members, it means these companies are able to offer the same prices of the holiday as they bought them. The offers are emailed to all the members regularly, and with such a wide range of choice people are never left short at finding their ideal destination. For more information about this and other related matters, please see Hank Armand Presentations on Slideshare .

Moreover, the private members travel service industry is rapidly growing as more people try to take advantage of these exclusive and wonderful offers. It would be no surprise if this was the standard travel method in the near future. Once upon a time in the not-so-distant past, travelers and holiday-makers who wished to travel long distances to experience cultures and traditions widely different from their own would be confronted by ticket prices that only the extremely wealthy could possibly afford. Because of this financial restraint, travelers – particularly those with a family – would be forced to settle for a destination somewhat closer to home. However, times have changed. A greater democracy is is becoming apparent in the world of travel and tourism. Now it is no longer the rich that can afford to soak up the sun in St Tropez or hike the Himalayas. Thanks to visionaries such as Hank Armand, it could be you letting your hair down in Haiti. See more of Hank Armand on Vimeo .

Hank Armand, A Travel Visionary

Hank Armand is regarded as something of a visionary in the ultra-competitive world of travel and tourism. Nowadays, booking flights to distant climes has been made easy thanks to the Internet. But this has not always been the case. Some twenty years ago, booking even a simple two-week holiday took considerable time and effort – not to mention the expense of booking fees, travel agent costs, and greatly inflated airfares. How times have changed. The Internet has made booking a holiday as easy as buying a CD – and this is due in no small measure to the foresight and ingenuity of people like Hank Armand.

Hank Armand started his first travel agency more than 30 years ago. By his early twenties he was already a confirmed backpacker – no small feat in itself in those days of high airfares, inefficient tour operators, and frequently fraudulent hoteliers. Moreover, the choice of destination was limited to the amount of contacts any individual travel agency held in its portfolio. In practical terms, this often meant traipsing from one agency to another, merely in order to reach a particular place at a particular time. It was a frequently tedious, expensive, and frustrating process – and if one were to offer one single reason for Hank Armand deciding to enter the travel and tourism business it would be down to his own experiences of traveling in those dark times. Indeed, much more could be said about Hank Armand and his frustrations of dealing with tour operators.

However, it was mainly due to those experiences that led Hank Armand to consider the possibility of setting up his own travel agency. After a period spent studying the strategies of travel agencies, he realized that there was a definite gap in the market for an innovative and forward-thinking travel agency. From little acorns do mighty oaks grow. First one and then another of his agencies prospered. Indeed, he seemed to have a Midas touch in business, and it was not long before he was a bona-fide self-made millionaire. And then the Internet came along.

Unlike some of his competitors, Hank Armand was quick to see its potential for facilitating travel. He created the first of many travel sites online and this allowed him to offer a greater range of holiday destinations at a far lower price than he had been able to do before. Success followed success. Thanks to the vision of Hank Armand, we are now able to travel to virtually anywhere in the world – safely, comfortably, and cheaply.
